Canon South Africa and SADGA are happy & honoured to welcome the Dutch to the Canon SA Disabled Open 2018 Magalies Park
We all know Tineke Loogman very well from all her past SA Opens and her International Disabled tournaments. Tineke is an 11.6 handicap and one of the top female disabled golfers in the world. In 2016, the Mayor of Amstelveen, Tineke’s home town, awarded Tineke with a medal for her outstanding work in disabled golf. This will be her 5th SA Open and she will be accompanied by her husband, Ger.

Frans Harmsen, handicap 11.7 played in the 2013,2014 & 2016 SA Disabled Open. Frans has been playing golf since 2002. Frans was the winner 3 times of the order of merit in the Netherlands
2nd place France Open (Le national), Finnish Open, English Open, Spanish Open and Chech Open
3rd place, Swedish Open, Chech Open
He has also played in the World Longest drive in Nevada United States in 2014 (267 Yards/244 Meters).
New disabled golfer Leon Emmen lost both his legs due to a life-threatening sepsis in February 2015. As a starting recreational golfer before his illness, he was incredibly happy to be able to continue playing golf on his prosthesis. With lots of training and experience, he is getting better fast. In daily life, he is a manager at IT-company Atos and father to a 3,5 year old toddler.
