Thanks to @SportsTrustSA for the wonderful donation of R 250 000 towards the SADGA First Swing Program. Part of the donation was used to transform the Lonwabo and Reubin Birin modified golf environment into an amazing place for the children to learn to play golf. Clothing and @snaggolf equipment made up the balance of the donation.
Today at the new golf environment the children were treated to a NOMADS road show, where all the children came and played and got spoilt by the Eastern Cape NOMADs with sweets, chocolates and hot dogs.
Special thanks to our amazing and passionate coaches, Tyler and Best , run under the leadership of @GraemeWhaleGolf
Thanks must also go to Glen Mayberry of Ibhayi Contracting for their hard work and generous donation of products to transform the hall.
Big thanks to SADGA golfer, Christo De Jager who came to lend a hand this morning.
SADGA are looking forward to some talented deaf golfers from the Reubin Birin school in the near future.
As always our thanks to @Proudly_Bidvest and @Canon_SA for their continued support of the First Swing Program.
