Our monthly competition was held at the picturesque Cotswold Downs on Sunday 29 July. We were treated to great weather on a well-manicured course with lightning greens that really tested the average golfer.
Everybody was looking forward to try and hole out on the Par-3 5th hole that currently has prize money in excess of R103 000.
The scores weren’t that great but if you came off the course with a score in the high 20’s to 30 then you did exceptionally well. There were many stories of 3 and 4 putts but overall an enjoyable day.
Well done to Rory Hickson for achieving his first eagle on the Par-5 13th.
