Opening Doors for All: SADGA Equipment Assistance Program for 2025 is here!

We are excited to announce the launch of the SADGA Player Equipment Assistance Program for 2025! This initiative, made possible thanks to the generous support of the National Lotteries Commission (NLC), is designed specifically to support golfers with disabilities who need assistance to access the right equipment for their game.

At SADGA, we understand that having the right equipment is vital for players to improve their game, gain confidence, and enjoy every moment on the course. Unfortunately, the cost of golf gear can be a significant hurdle. That’s why we’re here—with the financial backing of the NLC—to bridge that gap and help talented golfers reach their full potential.

The SADGA Equipment Assistance Program offers two types of support:

• Full Assistance: For those who need complete financial support;
• Pro Rata Assistance: For applicants who can contribute towards their equipment, we offer partial assistance, helping to make costs more manageable.

To apply, golfers will need to provide proof of financial need, such as an affidavit or other supporting documentation. This ensures we reach those who need help the most.

Who Should Apply?

If you are a golfer with a disability and financial challenges are holding you back from upgrading your gear, we encourage you to apply. We believe everyone deserves the chance to pursue their best performance on the course, regardless of financial circumstances.

Eligibility Requirements: To qualify for assistance, applicants must:

• Have participated in at least two All Abilities Golf Tour (AAGT) events in 2024.
• Be committed to participating in at least three AAGT events in 2025 (2025 schedule being released shortly).
• Be in good standing with SADGA.
• Be in financial need.

Please Note:
Applying for the program does not guarantee success. All applications will be reviewed, and successful applicants will be announced on or about 28 February 2025.
