35 golfers decended on Wingate Park for the July Provincial Golf Day. Gauteng blessed us again with a pearl of a day so nobody could have blamed the weather.
There is a saying of cream always rises to the top…
Daniel Slabbert and Johan van Wyk won the better ball competition with 43 points, Johan du Plooy and Ozzy Evert came second with 42 points, Frans Smit and Manie Smit were third with 41 points, losing the count out on 41 points were Werner Traut and Virgil Foster and in 5th place were Christo Bosman and Johan van Vuuren.
A big Thank you to Manie Smit who donated the meat prizes for the day
