Well done to First Swing Program golfer Pierre Kotze who claimed the title in the Theewaterskloof Golf Club Championship C-division.
In Pierre’s words, here’s what took place:
“It was a perfect autumn day with nearly no wind and lots of sunshine. I played in the C-Division handicap 16 to 25. The format for the day was Medal. The past week before that Saturday I worked on my short game and it paid off on the day. The first 9 holes I played very well. On the second-nine I had a few bad holes but came back well. On the day my Irons worked out well and my putting was on point. I still have a lot to work on, but I’m improving each time and learning a lot about myself and my abilities. I was surprised to have won my division. My score for the day was 89.”
Well done on the win Pierre, we’re all very happy for you!
