Carts will be provided on a sharing basis to all Physically Disabled & Blind competitors.
Blind golfers may bring a coach and a bag carrier if they require. Due to the limited number of carts, caddies and coaches will only be allowed to drive in the carts with a medical certificate.
Only Senior Deaf golfers will be allowed carts. Deaf golfers who have a doctor’s certificate will also be allowed carts. Pull trolleys will be available to all deaf golfers.
There are a limited amount of caddies – should you wish to book a caddie, please contact Mount Edgecombe Country club directly to book a course caddie.
Should you wish to bring your own caddie, the caddie would have to pay the caddie entry fee. Caddies are required to register with their player at registration.
All caddies need to be recognized by the tournament rules officials as they form part of the player’s equipment and will therefore be required to wear the CANON bibs.
Official golf handicap index’s as from Sunday 10th of May 2020 will be used for the duration of the Canon SA Disabled Golf Open 2020. This will be confirmed with you at Registration.
If you do not have a handicap Index on the 10th May 2020, you will not be eligible to take part in the tournament.
Should your golf club not be affiliated to SAGA (South African Golf Association) then you are to hand in your proof of handicap at registration on Sunday 10th May 2020.

Tournament accommodation will be at the Gumtree Guest Lodge & Afri-Lala Lodge in Mount Edgecombe CC.
Price for 5 night’s accommodation bed and breakfast from 10-15 May 2020
- 2 people in a room in Twin Beds or a double bed @ R 2400 each (R 4800 for the room)
- 1 person in a room alone in a Double Bed @ R 4800

Shuttles to/from the Airport to/from Gumtree lodge will cost R 100 per trip on Sunday 10th May and Friday 15th May. Any other shuttles times / dates to be quoted separately

Divisions are subject to change depending on the composition of the final entries.
Should the tournament be oversubscribed, the tournament committee has the right to limit the number of players that they deem appropriate.
