Du Toit Victorious in Western Cape Regional Day

 
The June Western Cape Regional Day took place on Sunday the 13th of June at Stellenbosch Golf Club.
 
On a tough day for scoring, it was Les Autres golfer Lance Du Toit who fared the best among the physically-disabled – carding 33 stableford points. This helped him edge out leg-amputee Craig Moorgas and blind golfer Garrett Slattery by a single point.
 
In the Deaf division meanwhile, top-spot was shared between Cedric Touzard and Charles Williams. The pair returned tallies of 35 points to eclipse Kosie Janse Van Rensburg by two points. 
 
Clive Battison took top honours among the able-bodied contingent with a sensational haul of 40 points. Battison’s 75 off an eight-handicap secured a comfortable four-point triumph over Henry Voight.
