Canon South Africa FSP Inter Schools at King David Mowbray Golf Club
The Inter Schools took place this week at King David Mowbray Golf Club
6 Schools of Level 3 Golfers took part in the modified golf environment
• ASTRA School – Montana, WP
• Carpe Diem school – George, sponsored by the SCGU
• Filia School – Parow, WP
• Thembalethu School – Gugulethu, WP
• Eden School – Worcestor, Boland
• Eros School – Athlone, WP – tbc
The Competition was designed as follows:
• Welcome and Warm ups – warming up of the overall body, disability specific
• Putting World – learn to count, concentrate, feel
• Tramp Valley – posture, hand eye co-ordinator, focus and concentration
• Snap Hill – timing, speed, impact, balance
• SNAG Bay – cross training, LTAD and golf specific via fun and color: energy
• Nearest the SNAG MAN – golf specific, reality of golf ” how close can you hit the ball to a target”
