Callaway Golf SA, SADGA form Epic Partnership
Cape Town, 23 July 2022: The South African Disabled Golf Association and Callaway Golf South Africa have formed an exciting new partnership which sees one of the biggest brands in the game lend its support to South Africa’s disabled golfing contingent.
Callaway will supply the SADGA with equipment and apparel, giving SADGA members a great incentive to produce their best golf come tournament time.
The winner of the ongoing Race To Challenge Rankings as well as winners of SADGA Opens and Provincial Days will be rewarded with some of the finest clubs and clothing on the market.
SADGA Chairman Enver Hassen expressed his gratitude to Callaway Golf South Africa for deeming the SADGA worthy of its support.
“We as an association are humbled by this tremendous show of support by Callaway Golf South Africa and I’d like to thank everyone who brought this fantastic new partnership to fruition,” said Hassen.
“Callaway Golf is one of the finest brands in the game and I have no doubt that the prospect of winning their prizes will galvanise our members into working hard on their games going forward.”
Callaway Golf South Africa’s Brand Manager Riaan Spangenberg remarked that they’re looking forward to being part of the philanthropic endeavours of the SADGA.
“We have been impressed by the fine work that the SADGA does to uplift and enrich the lives of its members - many of whom come from disadvantaged backgrounds- so to play a part in that going forward is an exciting prospect for us all,” said Spangenberg.
“We look forward to a fantastic future and have no doubt the SADGA members will get great use out of the fantastic prizes that will be on offer in the coming weeks and months.”
The first opportunity to win a SADGA Open and walk away with some Callaway prizes in the process comes at the Tshwane Disabled Open which is to be held at Waterkloof Golf Club on the 13th and 14th of August.
